Recently, intermittent diets have become a popular means of weight and fat loss. In contrast to continuous dieting, intermittent dieting involves interrupting periods of energy restriction with short periods of energy maintenance or even surplus. These periods of greater energy intake are often referred to as “diet breaks” (or “refeeds”). The question is, are there any benefits to using them and if so, how should one set up one? - Dr. Jackson Peos gives us some insight!
